Anybody Else with this Problem?

Since my pregnancy,my hair has been thinning and falling out (not to the point where I have bald spots) but it is noticeable.  My hair is so damaged and I have never had this many split ends.  It's so thin and damagaged, it's ugly...It's all in different lengths now.  Someone told me that prenatal pills help with the growth of your hair, which I forget to take many days.  has anybody had any problems like this since the pregnancy.  One of my co-workers said her hair wouldn't stop growing...mine won't stop falling...my poor hair used to be so thick and beautiful, now it's gone...I want to get professional treatment on my hair, but I really can't afford to be doing all that...any suggestions?

Aussie products are great! There is a 5 minute treatment that I use once a week along with regular shampooing. Also you shouldn't wash it every day..try every other day. John Frieda also has a hair serum that helps with split ends...As for the thinning, it happens in pregnancy sometimes and theres no treatment for that...sorry.

I ALWAYS have this problem when I'm pregnant and even after the baby is born.  It takes several months after I have the baby for it to stop.  My youngest is 7 1/2 months old and I just recently stopped pulling out fist fulls of hair everytime I shower.  I hate it.  Luckily for me, I have a lot of hair to lose.  It will get better.  Just make sure to continue taking your vitamins.

My hair has been falling out/ well not really falling out more like breaking off since my 3rd pregnancy and here I am on #7.  It's so thin and now it's getting really brittle and stringy looking.  I DEFINATELY DO NOT have that "thick full pregnancy mane" that so many talk about.  Prenatals will help and if you don't use one already, switch to a shampoo/conditioner for dry brittle hair.  don't worry about volumizing, go for moisturizing and nourishing.

My hair has been thinning as well.  I have been really sick, and my mom-in-law says it is related to pregnancy, malnutrition from being so sick, and then on top of that I have newly diagnosed hyperthyroidism (hopefully related only to pregnancy).
Everyone is different.  First pregnancy I didn't lose hair like this, and now this pregnancy is so different.  Your hair will recover when it is all said and done! :)

Oh yea, try just putting in your cond. and keeping it in for a few hr's( do it with dry hair). and  if you can put a bag over it and heat it with a blow dryer.

When you are pregnant your hair does grow faster, so that means if you get a hair cut every 6month you should get in sooner. The split ends are from not getting your hair cut. I waited to long as well and had to cut off 3inch. Now it doesnt feel like Iam lossing as much. Just wait intill after birth, to me my hair fall out more.......
