Anyone??? Please

I honestly am truely sorry for all the complaining lately. But I cant take this anymore... My back hurts so bad.  Its been horible for the last week and half.  what do I do?  I cant take pills so tylenol is out of the question.  Hubby has tried rubbing it.. Nothing works.  Any suggestions.   Does the doctor do anything for serious back pain?  Im being a big baby I know, but i have a low pain tolerance.  Please help me, or just try and give me some hope of some sort.  thanks!!

A shower with the nozzle pointed directly on my back seemed to help me a little. Laying down didn't help me much either, my back felt better standing up, though other parts started hurting if I stood too long, lol.

Word of warning on the baths - I took one the other night hoping it would help with my back pain it felt good until I tried to get out!  I felt like a senior citizen trying not to fall!  I must have been a sight to see - hehehe.  So just be careful if you try to take a bath - getting up out of the tub can be a real chore.

Thanks guys.  I feel as if laying down makes it hurt worse, cause it hurts 10 times more when I try to get up.  And now  i woke up feeling so sick, like I could vomit any second.  Im hungry but cant seem to want to eat anything.  Still tired but cant sleep due to my back.  Ugh i guess I gotta deal with it, i only got 3 and half more weeks till my due date.

If you can't take pills you can always try the childrens liquid tylenol.  Call your ob and ask what the correct doseage would be.  Like Joy said, a heating pad on warm (not hot), warm baths, excercise and massage are just about the only thing you can do besides tylenol.

I hear your pain.  For me, spending a lot of time laying down seemed to help.  I have also started bringing a pillow everywhere I go to use against my back when I sit.  I have also tried the heating pads, which my doctor said is okay as long as it is on low and not near my stomach.  I've also been doing stretches.  Nothing really seems to help the pain significantly, but I've notice some relief.  Anything is better than nothing I guess : )

Sorry but it's just something most every pregnant woman goes through. Just think baby will be here before you know it and all that pain will not only be worth it but soon forgotten.

Doc won't do anything except tell you to use a warming pad, do exercises, massage and Tylenol.

Are you particularly stressed about anything right now? Fear and stress can increase pain. Let yourself have a warm, relaxing bath (not too hot) and try to destress. Don't freak about the birth if that is stressing you out.
