PVC stands for premature ventricular complexes. It has to do with the electrical circuit in your heart. They are very common. Everyone has them some point in their life. They are very common in pregnant women because of the excessive amount of blood in your body. I watch heart rythyms. When I was pregnant I used to hook myself up to the monitor and I was having a lot of PVCs. I still have them now but not as frequently as when I was pregnant. They typically do not treat them.
these are called peri pre ectopic heart beat, this is when chambers of the heart have stretched a bit due to more blood, i got them whem pregnant and still here now i ignore them
Well I've continued to follow up with them because they used to give me panic attacks because they felt so scary. They've never said they were heart murmurs just said PVC's which i guess a lot of people have and i guess i just notice them more but I hate them and i'm young so they are especially scary I just wanted to know how many other people have these.. is there a difference between heart murmurs and PVCs? I've wore a 24 hour heart moniter twice and had an ultra sound twice all which came back normal.. they are just so damn scary!!
I had these with my first pregnancy and come to find out I had developed a heart murmur but when I delivered my little man all was back to normal at my pp check up. Def follow up with your doctor if you are having continued symptoms.
