my baby girl was breech till 36 weeks next week i went in an she had turn but i was in labor didnt ev en know it i was just feeling bad. my dr put me in the hosptial cause baby was not mioving goodduring a stress test and thet ending up during a c/s because her heart beat her cord was wrap around her when she did flip
Thanks girl and it was just my period =( not given up!!
My friend's son was breech, she was due for a csection (Although shhe said they were going to do a Csecion in Nov when he was due in January... i think she lied about that part) but anyways.... the day we was due for her c section he flipped... a few weeks later flipped back again... booked in for a csection flipped again... and eventually he stayed headdown!!
I hope she flips! :)
xx
Mine is transverse most of the time. When not, I feel moments more no the lower part. Could be breech. Anyways i'll be getting a usg done soon (sometime this week). Hope it is head first for us when the baby decides to arrive :)
My cousin had a successful version and then baby flipped back. They did it again the day of scheduled csection and she stayed they induced her and within 2 1/2 hrs she had her beautiful little girl :) so she was able to avoid the csection.
They don't like to induce because some of the medications used can cause complications in a VBAC. If you're going VBAC going natural is the way to go. You probably know all of this and have done all your homework. Little one will turn; still plenty of time. Good luck!
i started to worry this time because she was frank breech at my 32 (i think) wk u/s. but by 36 weekd she was headdown.
not personally, but, my friends little one was breech and they had her scheduled for a csection...and even at 38 weeks she was still breech, and then her water broke and the baby was head down at that point...so sometimes they dont turn until you go into labor..I wouldnt stress too much..like you said there are excersizes and things you can do to try to help her turn...I will be praying that she will turn for you..I know how bad you want to have a VBAC
Yeah...LOL agreed! I'm sure she will flip, I've been paying extra attention to body parts I find, and I think she's head down right now...she felt transverse earlier...but something was poking out from the roundish shape, and I know she doesn't have an arm sticking out of her head!
I'm excited about the additional u/s part.
Alright then I revise my comment...probably the reason he couldn't flip himself was because he's freaking LONG LOL. there we go
Ivy~~~I didn't even let them attempt to try to flip him. This time I would, but with him, I'd already been through enough scares and risks and worries...
Well that's how drs turn them, by using their hands...but I wouldn't feel safe attempting to turn her by myself at home without a drs supervision...I think I'd leave that up to the pros...a lot can happen when they flip them, it's not really really dangerous, but their are risks..I definitely would NOT recommend anyone attempting to manually move a baby themselves...
oooo she'll flip. I have a feeling! the EMV or whatever they call it up ther e(External Manual Version) was successful on me...so I hope that if she doesn't flip on her own (I think she will) it'll work for you. Elijah was LONG which is probably why they couldn't turn him...there wasn't enough room.
I'm glad you get another u/s though!!!
I know this sounds a little medieval, but i've heard of women actually taking their hands and turning the baby themselves... i know it's weird...but heard that it works... that or prod the baby to move..idk not an expert.
Just don't give up hope, have faith, and know that it takes time. Stress won't help so don't worry so much!
thanks i kinda needed that i just dont want to get my hopes up, never know though
Thank you for finding that for me! And yes I'm definitely looking for successful version stories. With Elijah I didn't attempt it because I'd had so many BH contractions, and was already dilated 1cm 50% effaced at 33 weeks. I was so scared that I'd go into labor right after and they wanted to flip him BEFORE 35-36 weeks. I did a lot of research online and looked at the statistics on percentage for success and how many babies stayed head down...I just decided with him it was best that I did the c-section.
THIS time around though, I haven't had as many issues as I had with Elijah, and it's been pretty smooth so far. So this time I'm all for attempting a version if I have to. I really do have plenty of time for her to flip, so I'm really trying not to worry so much, but I'd like to get info beforehand just in case. I don't like being prepared, and hearing others' stories will help out a lot!
Thank you!
Yeah, I know how that feels. We tried for a year, with a three month break, so six consecutive months before I got pregnant. You want it so bad every month you think you are...I hope your period doesn't show and you get a positive test!
Ok so you want successful version stories! I have one! I looked up my old posts so you can see what I said about it right after I got it that way my memories can't change on me trying to recount it now. :)

Yeah it really does, waitin on my period tomorrow, and at first its like no period symptoms and then like BOOM headache, idk i guess i will just have to wait for tomorrow, and by the way you have a nice family.
It was like that every month for me when we were trying for this one. It gets so frustrating!
youre right im just tryin to figure out whats goin on with me, one minute i feel pregnant then next minute i just think its my period. but goodluck, when you ready i think you should add on
Yeah, I'm not sure though...I'm a worrier by nature, and being pregnant is scary, just because you never know what's going on in there...
