Are your parents happy or disappointed?

I am over achiever with an amazing career and loving boyfriend. Just because of my age, I am still looked down upon it. My parents are happy but wished I waited longer. It makes me feel sad to know that, but my daughter is a blessing. Does anyone feel discouraged because of your age?

My dad didn't say much but I think my mom was a little disappointed. I'm the only one so far off her kids that decided to go to college and I think she wanted me to finish before I got pregnant. At first she kept asking what my plans were gonna be our of they were gonna change. She's excited now though. And my dad always asks if I'm ok or hungry lol

My mom is very excited, she was asking my husband and I to have a baby for a while. We both have great jobs, nice cars,a home, very independent. We have been married for over a year and we're 21. My dad on the other hand was kind of upset and said he wish we would have waited a few more years. Some times you have to ignore the ignorance, especially if they don't pay your bills.

When I told my parents I think they were kinda let down, I think they wanted more for me at this age besides having kids. It does hurt cause I want them to be proud of me but they are definitely supportive through everything and helpful so that's all I can ask for.

Usually the reason anyone is worried is if they think you cannot afford to raise a baby.  What is your career, will it survive being a mother?  If so, I don't see what your parents are so worried about.
