Ashermans Syndrom?? Anyone hear of this or have experiance with it?

Since my m/c in April I have had cramping all through out the month. My periods are a lot lighter and shorter. I use to have very heavy bleeding and excruciatingly painful cramps.  

I'm on CD14 and the last 3 days I have been having pretty bad cramps. I finally decided to google mid cycle cramping ( sometimes not the best thing to do) I found Ashermans Syndrome 40% of cases are caused by DNC's.  I had a missed m/c so I had to have a DNC. Since then I have had symptoms that I have never had before.  

Has anyone heard of this or had this before? I am thinking about making an appointment with my gyn just to see if I do indeed have this. I know that something isn't right since the M/C.  I do indeed want to TTC again and need to find out what is going on though.   I don't have insurance so I try not to go to the Dr unless it's a needed visit.

Any information and or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issues. I had a D & C last Oct. and still have not had a period for 5 mos. I get severe cramping when it feels like it's time for me to have my period. My abdomen will bloat up from retaining menstrual blood. My new GYN wants me to start provera to trick my body into having a period. If this doesn't work, then I'm to get a HSG procedure and if it shows scar tissue I will probably have to have a hysteroscopy to remove it. That's one thing that a lot of doctors don't tell you is the risk of getting Asherman's syndrome from a D & C. The pain is unbearable.
