BFP!!! first HCG levels are.........

well.....finally conceived #3......my doc called me today and told me my first HCG level is 733....she also said it is kinda low....personally i am tired of them saying that because they always freak me out.....my LMP was 3/28 and im not sure on my cycle length because for a few months they went irregular so who knows....my guess is im inbetween 4 and 5 weeks and personally i think my hcg level looks good....maybe im being too optimisitc???

anybody else know their hcg level between 4 and 5 weeks? is mine ok?

First of all a big congrats!!

And really just going over old ground of what the other ladies have said i wouldnt let that number freek you out theyve gotta start off somewhere right?! And at 5wk6day mine was 597 but again the numbers not important its that it goes up by atleast 80% every 48-72hrs.

Good luck with the pregnancy and i hope its very healthy & happy :-))

My doctor told me the same thing and i got pissed. As long as they double every 48 to 72hrs your fine. My fist draw this pregnancy my hcg was 238 and i was just 4 weeks.

They ALWAYS say that and it ticks me off! The levels have to begin somewhere. Mine were like in the 200-range at my first lab draw. The point is they need to rise but I'm sure you already know that!

i know i should know all of this but no matter how many times i get preg i always want to compare to put myself at ease and my doc did not help

tuesday is my next test and wed ill have the result for that....i should also be at the high risk doc next week to start my heparin and come up with a 1st trimester plan again....im sure in the next few weeks there will be an u/s....

its so excited but nerve wracking at the same time

hubby is super excited but we havent told our families until we are out of the 1st trimester because of past losses

I wouldnt be concerned about the number. It dosnt matter what the level is the thing that matters is that it is doubling like it is suppose to. I was almost 4 weeks and my hcg was 63 or something like that. Really really low and I am now 35 weeks pregnant!!!!! I am so happy for you!!!! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! God Bless

I'm not sure where they got that number as well. I wouldn't concern yourself until you get your second draw. Since your draws are so far apart, you'll obviously want to see them more than double.

Yes, your levels look fine. :) Remember though, it's not the number that is important. It's what that number does. You want it to double every 48 hours in a viable pregnancy. (or somewhere close to that range)

3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml

Good luck!!
