you need to have your HCG levels checked by the doctor to find out if they are going up or down. Its too early to get an u/s done unfortunately. Have you had sex with your partner in the last day or so? It can cause bleeding. There are tons of reasons to have bleeding during pregnancy, and unfortunately one of the reasons could be that this time it just wasn't meant to be. I hope not though. Good luck!

It could mean a lot of things. During pregnancy cramping and spotting are both common because your uterus is expanding, so it causes some pain. The cervix is also a lot more sensitive so it's easier for it to bleed. The main concern is when you start to bleed bright red blood with bad cramping. There may or may not be clots in the blood. At other times, the bleeding could be the start of a chemical pregnancy and it just picks up and turns into a normal period. No one can say for sure what yours is. It can go either way right now. Best thing you can do is to relax and not do anything strenuous. I'd also recommend not having sex (if you still are) because it can cause more spotting and cramping. If you would like, you can also call a doctor and see what they have to say.
