Baby Boy names

Hi all - I am sooooooo gettin frustrated. my dh and i are 6 months pregnant and we have no names picked or even any ideas that we like and can agree on... im startin to think my lil man will be nameless and i would hate that! we are so compatible and in sync with most things that its quite surprising actually hehe -
any ideas? we like unusual but not weird names.
we are thinking jason or daniel for a middle name. my husbands name is Jason Daniel. and we have a huge surname so nothin to long. lol...
for eg: i dont mind Max and Ryder (but my friend took this name so now I can thave it shes due b4 me :-(
what do u do when ur husband and ur taste in names is sooo different?

cheers ladies 4 any help!
lorri

To: sexyhot_dandy,

I didn't know that. Sorry ;-( My cousin named her son Kameron with a K. But then again all 4 of her childrens' names start with a K, bc of her dhs name begining with a K. She has 3 boys and one girl. Kameron,Kaleb, are 2 of her boys.

My Friend is naming her daughter Bailey. So I guess you could go either way with any name really.

IDK, maybe I need to go out and buy a baby name book, so I won't give my child the 'wrong sex' name.

I like Daniel! That's my hubby's first name. Anyway, my DH and I had a VERY hard time picking out names for both of our girls. They weren't named until they were born. We just spent time with them and then we both looked at each other and said the same name! With out first, we both said, "She is Elaina, isn't she?" And with our second, we both said, "Abigail!" at the same time.

Your baby won't be nameless. Check out a baby name book from the library (or buy one) and go through the entire boy section and write down every name and its meaning. Then have your hubby do it as well, on his own time. Then sit down together and go through your lists and find the ones you both agree one.

From there you should find a perfect name for your little man!

Daniel means "God is my Judge" by the way...

Went through my registers:
Declan, Dylan, Callum, Marcus, Reece, Lewis, Niall, Nathaniel, Frazer are the ones that there are no repeats of.
Some I've had in the past are Keelan, Keenan, Kai, Kier, Buster, Jai, Harrison, Drew and Brett.

If I have a boy I'm gonna call him Luca! That's the only one I got though :(

i like the name riley for a boy, but DH thinks it is a "girly" name - but I disagree.  I like it for a boy.  I also like the name bailey for a boy, but alot of people are naming their daughter's bailey.  I don't know if you have ever watched Party of Five - but one of the characters on there was a guy named bailey.

I love the name Payton, Ayden,Gage. My friend had a boy a few months back and named him Trenton.

I already have my girls name picked out, but as far as the boy, I'm not sure. My dh doesn't have a middle name, so I don't know what we will do if I'm having a boy. ;-)

Jaylin, Jerricho,Kyler,Kameron,

Find two names that you really, really like, then propose only one of them to him. Everyday say that name to him and to your bump. Eventually he will either get used to the name and like it or jump at the chance you offer another name (name number two). He will think you are being kind for compromising the name you are in love with and you get you way...
Everybody wins.

(This may be a slight variateion on how i got my way with the name Hazel for a girl, my partner hated Ada which was my favourite for so long, evn  pre concieving, and i whispered it in his ear as he slept and everything which just made him more stubborn. By the time i offered hazel he was so surprised  'he' changed my mind that i got to choose the middle name too=) )

When I had my daughter, I had no idea what I wanted to name her.  I am very organized (may be to a fault) so I made a list of names that I liked and then separated them into two columns, first names and middle names.  Then I thought about which names sounded the best together and asked friends and family for their opinions.  It is so hard to choose!

For a boys name... I have a cousin named Ethan, and I love that name!  One of my friends just named her baby boy Evan, and it's not a very common name now.  My husband and I have decided that if we have a son we are going to name it after him.  He wasn't crazy about the "Jr." part at first, but we will never call him "Junior."  I think it is special and meaningful to use family names.
