Baby Girl Names (Round 2)

Ok, so DH and I are still having a hard time with names.  DD6 insists we're gonna call her Lily but I'm not sure.  I still REALLY like Aliana (or Alainah or Alaynah)  DH and I both kind of like Danielle.  So here are some combos I've come up with...let me know what you think...and if you would spell them different, how? What nicname would you go with for your choice? The last name Starts with an "N" and is long (9 letters)

The nicnames would be:

Alaina:  Lani or Lany
Danielle: Dani
Lilian: Lily

Lilian was my great grandmothers name and she was the most amazing woman I have ever been blessed to know!  :)  I like Lily as a nickname too :) lol
I guess I'm siding with DD lol

I have to say I really like the sound of Alaina Danielle and I prefer that spelling over Alaynah

I agree with Pamela...I like Alaina Danielle too....I also like the nickname for it too. I thought of that name for a girl and really liked it.

Thanks ladies.  Alaina Danielle is my favorite so far.  I can't decide whether  I like Lany or Dani better for a nicname.  

For some reasons Lily keeps popping back into my head, but I just dont' know if I like it enough.  Which of the  names sounds better with the sibling names we already have?:

Samantha Abigail (Abby)
Alexandra MacKayla (Alex)
Jacob Gabriel (Gabe)

I like Alaina Danielle the best. I think it's beautiful and goes great with your other names. I like the nickname Lany nut I would probably spell it Lainie. Great name though congrats!

Thanks. I'm trying to stick with 4 letter nicnames as all of my other kids have that.  Sounds kinda stupid, but well, I dunno, I'm crazy like that LOL

As for nicnames I've tallied what everyone has said they liked:

Dani: 1

I'll give it a few more days then I'll present it to DH And see what he thinks LOL :)

lol I'm sorry you are still going through this dilemma. It is tough sometimes I know. I had a very hard time choosing my boy's name. I voted for Alaina Danielle. I think it is a very beautiful name. Hope hubby likes our pick :-)

I voted Alaynah Danielle, simply because I love the spelling, it is different..It also sounds so cute for a child, but also mature for when she is a "woman"
