Yay!!!! Glad everything is ok!
yay! Glad everything worked out!
Well I am back from my appointment and they found a heartbeat with the doppler. He had problems finding it - he said the baby was in a weird position. It must have been turned around or something he said as there was some static with the doppler - so that is probably why I haven't been feeling it. I am so relieved!! I still haven't gained any weight (am actually 2lbs under my original weight) but they are not worried as my belly is getting bigger - and I am not complaining!!
don't worry! Some people don't feel it move until later in the 5-6th month. Its not very consistant yet.
You could try some juice as well, the sugar should get him moving. I am 22 weeks with my second and I have been feeling my baby move everyday for the past week or so. When I was 19 weeks it was a little less consistent.
aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh i can't wait until my doctors appointment!! I still don't think i've felt it move around - even when I lay down! I just drank a glass of cold water and still nothing...... I have my doctors appointment in 3 hours...
I've been thinking the same thing but sometimes he kicks sometimes he doesn't kick as much. I also feel him kick more after I eat and when I lay on my back. He also loves chocolate so he kicks a ton when I eat something that has tons of chocolate or if I drink Ice cold water.
Yep it's normal> I Did NOT feel TJ moving constantly until I was around 33w. I felt him move for the first time around 25w
hehe, I bet your baby is just having a good ole time even if mommy can't feel it =P
Thank you so much ladies. I definitely feel a lot better especially knowing that the baby might be kicking towards the back -and this why I might not be feeling it.
definitely normal. i once didn't feel my baby move for 3 days. my midwife explained that if the baby kicks towards my back, rather than my front, i won't feel it. Mention the pain to your dr, probably just round ligament pain ( your body accommodating for baby's growth ), only saying because i always describe any pains i've had at check ups. It's always been normal and nothing to worry bout but it did put my mind at ease to hear a dr. confirm it.
It really depends on the person i think and if this is your first baby. With my first dd i didnt feel every day movement till probably 24wks or so. With this little one I've felt her everyday for the past week and a half and im 23wks now. So go figure. I think you are perfectly fine. I wouldnt worry. The baby is so small and theres so much room it can move where u cant feel it.
I am 19 weeks also and have experienced the same thing. I am a nurse and use the doppler at work just to make sure he is ok. ( i am paranoid ) The OB said this is mormal. She said it will be more consistent toward the third trimester. Its hard not to worry though.
I know it! My placenta's infront so I can't really feel him, I just see my belly move from the outside, it ***** but at the same time I'm happy DH gets to feel him move too :]
Ok thanks for that!! I definitely makes me feel a lot better, knowing that somebody else has this happening to them - what you described is exactly what has been happening. I felt a little wiggle on friday but that's been about it. As weird as it feels, I really look forward to feeling that little wiggle/kick.
Yeah, I asked the same question a few weeks ago, I'm 22W and I still don't feel consistant movement, I feel it like crazy one day, then not hardly at all for about 3 more days - I'm sure you're fine. As for the sharp pain when you went to the bathroom, happens to me ALLLL the time, it's nothing to worry about :]
