Back from the doctor

Well ladies i just got back in from the doctor and he said the only way they would induce my labor now is if i have a medical problem like diabetes high blood pressure or some other type of medical problem and they wont consider enducing me untill im a few days be for 41 weeks or 41 weeks exactly he said he's not going to let me go pass the 1st of april but my pressure was kinda high today i think the nurse said it was 160 over 40 or 140 over 60 it was one of them but when i went in to see the doctor he checked it again and he said it was back to normal i usually go every thursday but he told me to come back on monday and if i have any headaches to go to the hospital because that's a sign of high blood pressure and he wouldn't give me anything for the pain i told him and all he said was i shouldn't be in so much pain cause im so young im only 23 i don't know what to do now but wait till my lil man dacides to come or they induce me im so fustrated

back pain can mascurade (sp?) as Labor. Esp if it radiates around your sides to your stomach. I suggest going to the doctor to get checked out to see how dialated you are.

I don't know if im having contractions but my lower back has been hurting since last night and i keep getting these paing in the top of my stomach the come and go like 2 or 3 every hour or so but the pain in my back stays longer i probably wont even know if i was in labor being that i haven't this since 2000 and even then i didn't know i was in labor i thought i was hungry lol

with my daughter, I was 8 days early, but had had contractions all day.  When I went to the hospital they told me they were too irregular and that they were going to send me home.  I asked them to call my doctor to come up there, but while I waited, I flexed my stomach muscles as hard as I could every 4 minutes for as long as I could.  When the doc got there to check me, an hour later, I was dialated to a 5 and he said since I was having regular contractions every 4 minutes, they broke my water and labor was started!!  Don't know if this would help for you, but since you are so close to your due date, thought I would suggest it!!

I sure wish i could thats why i was thinking about trying the eveining primrose oil since it contains the same hormone that you get from sex

I was wondering being that my doc wont do it if i go to the emergency room and tell them about all the pain im in would they do it

Sorry i know how you feel.  I did the sam thing with my daughter. tried everything except sex because i had been on my own since i was 6.5 month along.  i plan on trying it this time to get my little man out if need be LOL.

I have heard a lot of doctors wont do it! I am thankful that my doc did it! I am sorry your in pain! I hope he comes soon!

I wish i had your doctor i wonder if i go to the hospital and tell them that will they do it

With my 2nd child, I went to my doctor and begged her to induce me because my back hurt really bad (it really didn't I just was tired of being pregnant).  I was only 38 weeks and she did it.  I had a healthy 6 lb 11 oz girl.

Im in a hell of a lot of pain my whole body hurts he still didn't say anything he wont even think about it till the week after next thats so long i have only 5 days till my due date and i have the only feeling that he's still not going to be here im so at the end of my rope

I've tried everything above except for the sex cause my BD cut out on me over a month ago so thats out the question

Man that sucks! With my 2nd my doc induced me 2 days after I hit 39 weeks, because I was so sick and in pain my whole body was givin me problems........ All I can say is walk as much as you can.... maybe try to BD or atleast orgasm..... I had no problems with my daughter coming she came 6 days early... Easter Sunday 2004! Friday I was giving my dog some water (as my DH and I were leaving to go 1 1/2hrs to pick up my sister so that I would have some help when she did come) well I fell on all 4's in a whole my dog made...Saturday my DH was checking out a motorcycle beside us at the stop light and all most hit the car in front of us, so he slammed on his breaks. I felt a sharp pain in my pelvis and gasped! When we got out of the car they were both freaken out because my belly had dropped!!! 4:00 am Sunday morning I went into labor and had her at 8:10pm Easter Sunday night!

Good luck and I dont recommend anyone try this to go into labor!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!
Boys are more stubborn than girls are!!!!

The only thing i guess you can try is all the old wives tales to start labor.
have sex
go for long walks
go on a bumpy car ride
eat spicy food
drink tea
those are the only ones i can think of off the top of my head.  Good luck and hopefully he comes soon!

Bummer! Well at least its not like you have a month left or anything! Lets just hope you go into labor...like tomorrow! that sounds like a good day to me! Huh lil man in her belly! Tomorrow's a great day to come out! :-D
