Oh man that worries me.. I have been taking it for 3 days now because my doctor said its ok.. Im really nervous because i read online that they studied it in pregnant rats and that it caused cleft palate and in high doses fetal death :( and it said that late in pregnancy it caused severe jaundice that causes brain damage.. Im not going to take it anymore but i am terrified...

Oh yes Semack84 is right, cranberry juice helps a lot, just make sure you get the pure cranberry juice and dilute it. The other stuff has too much sugar on it and you need to stay away from sugar. Sugar causes infections to grow..

I had a UTI when I was pregnant with my first and they prescribed medicine, unsure which one, but I didn't take it. I just drank a lot of cranberry juice and that cleared it right up :)

I just had an uti I was 15w and I was prescribed nitrofurantoin. I looked it up, it's commonly given to pregnant woman. I wouldn't take something if it said not to on the bottle. They don't know if it's safe there hasn't been studies done on pregnant women..
