Bactrim pills and pregnancy
I mistook my boyfriends bactrim pill for my prenatal vitamins, his bottle was were I keep my prenatal vitamins but I didnt check twice to see, Im not sure if I took one or not but im kinda worried. Ive been checkin the pill bottle ever since, could one pill harm the baby?
Like 25% of the population are allergic to it. If she was taking it as her own prescription instead of just accidently taking one pill I would call her doctor but because it was only one it shouldn't have built up in her system enough to give her any really adverse side effects. If she is allergic to it, it may make her break out in a rash/hives for like 24 hours. But even then doctors would just say not to take it anymore.
I took bactrim for a MRSA infection it's usually fir bad infections and I turned out be allergic to it. I would call a pharmacist or doctor
Bactrim is actually what they prescribe usually during pregnancy for UTI's so it shouldn't hurt you.
