You may have a cyst. When I was 15-16yrs old I had cyst on my ovaries and fallopean tubes, the pain was unbelievable. I missed tons of school, and I could babrely walk, some days were better then others and the pain does come and go, but you should definatly go to a doctor and get checked out.

You need to read and take in what the post are saying hun. You are probably not pregnant. You can call an OB/GYN or your family Dr and ask them not to tell your Mom and see if they know what it will be. They're going to tell you the same thing we're telling you here. You could have some kind of stomach pain, it may not be in your uterus. Also, a Urinary tract Infection will cause some pains and cramps, and it will feel like it's in your uterus. That does need to be treated because it can turn into a kidney infection, and you can get those from sexual intercourse where bacteria is moved around and gets inside the urethra. May be worth telling your Mom what's going on so she can take you get ya checked out.
Good Luck to you!!
XAN124....YOU NOT PREGNANT BOO! ONE MORE TIME....YOU ARE NOT PREGNANT BABY GIRL. IF YOU KEEP STRESSING YOURSELF YOUR PERIOD WONT COME, SO RELAX. YOU TYPICALLY OVULATE 7-14DAYS *AFTER* YOUR PERIOD NOT DURING YOUR PERIOD, AND SOME WOMEN OVULATE EVEN LATER THAN THAT WHICH IS WHAT COULD BE GOING ON WITH YOU THE REASON YOU ARE HAVING SO MUCH PAIN.
IF YOU CATCH AND TREAT PID EARLY ENOUGH NO IT WONT EFFECT YOU LATER. THIS IS WHAT I MEAN ABOUT EDUCATING YOURSELF .
I do not think you are pregnant.
Pid left untreated could leave u sterile.
Could PID affect you in later life?
But do you think i am pregnant by what i have told you? I am taking a test tomorrow just to make sure.
okay heres the thing i can assure u that u are not preg. But the pains are something that u should look into.U could have PID or any STD.I had PID before when i was about sixteen and its does cause u to have pains.
The pains could be a number of things. You are at an age to start developing small cysts on your ovaries. Or it could be that you ovulated late and are experiencing pains from that. Since you are 16 and you are having sex you should make an appointment to see a gynecologist b/c it is time for you to have annual checks. I dont want to tell you anything to scare you, but at the same time I want you to be informed and know exactly how YOUR body works. Birth control is not only to stop you from getting pregnant it could regulate you and reduce the amount of PMS symptoms you have. Just b/c you've never experienced the pains before doesnt necessarily mean anything...they may get worse or better with your future periods, you just never know. But again go speak to someone and have a complete check up done for everything including STD's. Once you know you are in the clear you will feel better and being educated about SEX will make you more prepared for it. I dont mean to fuss but b/c I'm a mama, and I've been a 16yr old I can understand both sides of the spectrum.
What are the pains for then? As i have not experienced this before.
Thanks but i do not want a baby right now as i have a few more years ahead of me before i think about that. I want honest and trueful answers.
OK sweetie, I'm not sure what answer you're looking for; but like most of the previous posters have stated, you are 9 times out of 10 NOT pregnant. It's very rare for a women to ovulate while she is menstruating. You are still very young and you'll continue to have changes in your monthly cycle until you stop having one decades from now. As your body grows and matures and produces more of a certain type of hormone you'll have all sorts of changes to look forward to. Since you asked for advice I figured I'll go ahead and slide you some: if you're going to be sexually active you may want to educate yourself on the way the human body works and if your mother knows your cycles you may want to be honest with her and let her know that you're active and you guys can look into some form of birth control together, or if you're not comfortable with that go to planned parenthood they have one in every state and they are a confidential source. At this stage in the game you cant afford to make any mistakes with your life...knowledge is the biggest defense against all bullsh*t. Good Luck!
is it true that If you can only get pregnant while you are ovulating, how can it happen during your period?
Yes but i have had these pains for a week now and i am just due on this saturday now coming. I have took parocetamol for my pains and that hasn't really helped. I woudn'd be soo panicy if i didn't have these pains. I have never experienced these pains before and since 3 weeks ago when i had sexual indercorse when i was on my periods, i have been worrying about the pre-*** and the symtoms. The most nerve racking thing is the pains as i have not had them before. The only pains i have recieved in the past is period pains when i am on my periods.
Sweetie you're probably feeling just cramps because if you were on your period 3 weeks ago you're going to be due to start soon, and lots of women get PMS symptoms a week before they're due. And yes pre-*** can get you pregnant, but chances are very very low, and even lower if you were on your period.
I would suggest reading how the whole cycle works to ease your mind. You can google it and it will show you how everything works and how low the chance of you getting pregnant on your period are.
Also, have you tried taking any tylenol or anything to relieve the pain. I would do that and try and relax in a warm bath. It could very well just be period pains, which I'm thinking you're having.'
Good Luck! If you need anything else or if you feel your question wasn't answer you can write back and I will be looking very often at your post and will respond back as soon as I can.
please wil you give me some advice. My mother knows that i am due on my periods and if i do not come on then she will ask me questions. What chances have i got ?
Has anyone got some good advice for me? i am really scared incase i don't come on, also my mum knows i am ment to be on this weekend and i don't want her asking questions. The pains come and go all through the day but more come then go and its really getting me down.
The pains are the most worrying thing of all becase i have never experienced this and its worrying me .. some people have said that you need *** rather then pre-***. But i don't know what to belive because there are soo many different answers! I would rather have the truth then things jsut to make me feel better.
