Bad throat burning everynight

I am 24 weeks on the 5 of aug. have had very bad throat burning everynight for 1-2 months now.
this burning is only in my throat it's not like heart burn it doesn't itch and when i drink something its only okay for that time then it starts to burn every few minuites. when i burp it burns befor i go to the doctors i wanted to ask.

First you need to lay sitting up part way if you can and be inclined. Then here is my reciepe for it well two things will help

Works for many hours or a whole 24 chug a 6-8oz of saurkrate (sp) juice out of a can it is great for ulcers and heals them actually

or

put a few swallows of water in a cup then a spoon full of suger (1 teaspoon)
then 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
then slowly pour in vinager till foamy but becareful not to over spill, About 1 tablespoon and drink while foamy. If it tastes bad adjust the sugar and it should not taste the vinager or baking soda. It calms it the instant it touches your belly
This last till you sit up again so I kept it by the sink in the bathroom in case I had trouble when I got up during the night.

I also used tums but if you do you already know you can eat about a whole bottle inon enight:) They can't hurt though as you can't get enough calcium, but if you have contractiosn and BH calcium can make them worse.

i had this with my daughter during the last trimester, spearment gum worked wonders for me!

You should contact your doctor. They should be able to recommend something that will help with it. I had this too with my last pregnancy. Sometimes Tums would help, and sometimes I would take Zantac. And sometimes nothing would get rid of it. One of the joys of pregnancy!

I have this problem too. It's just in my throat and it happens every night. I feel like nothing helps. I have taken 6 tums at one time to make it go away it doesn't help. It doesn't feel like heart burn at all.

I'm almost 12 wks and I already have it! I thought I was going to spit fire out the other night!!! At least I know I'm not alone lol!! I take my TUMS :-)

I had that so bad near the end of my pregnancy. I would wake up out of a dead sleep and start choking then once I caught my breath my throat was so burnt. I started sleeping a bit elevated so it wouldn't happen. I also stopped eating about 4 hours before I went to bed. That seemed to help as well. Hopefully you get some relief soon.

honey this is what we call demon pregnant GERD, acid reflux, or heartburn to the extreme.  Hug that mylanta. It was so helpful with ds1.
