Big Update on TJ!

Hi all! as some of you know TJ went in for his open heart surgery last Tuesday and came home Friday on a little oxygen for Pulminary Hypertension.
the nurse I spoke to thought he'd be on it for about a month.

Well today we went in for his check up 1 week post op. TJ has gained almost 9 oz in the last 8 days so is just over 8 lbs! (FINALLY) They also checked his lungs and they are clear and good, and they checked his oxygen levels.
With the oxygen on it was %95 and then we took the oxygen off and I fed him some. (that can make the O2 levels drop a bit) and it was STILL %95!!!!!!!!!!!!

The doctor was EXTREMELY happy with how well TJ is eating, and breathing...he says it'll just continue to improve over the next week or two and that from now on he should be a much easier baby! We are SO happy! he is such a strong little guy!!!!!!

I have not been on for a while, but I am glad to hear that he is doing well. OMgoodness, you are just as strong as him and that is why he keeps doing so well.
