What do you think is the best birth control ? I was never on anything despite the fact that I have a son already and I am pregnant again with my second. Me being confused about what both control to get on is basically what got me pregnant again.

I think all the clothes are different for different people. I have the Implanon in my arm for the entire 3 years never got pregnant, but I gain 85 pounds in a matter of 5 months, I had two periods a month and then would go a month without one. I was very irregular. As soon as I got it taken out I was pregnant within the month. Then after that pregnancy I went on the pill Trisprintic. I got pregnant and miscarried that baby at 14 weeks. I went on the NuvaRing after that and got pregnant with this baby and I'm now 27 weeks.even though the Implanon made me huge lol it did keep me from getting pregnant. And both of my sister's got pregnant on the depo shot.

I have always used the  Nuvaring. I like it Bc I have a hard time remembering pills to take at a certain time each day, even with my prenatals now. I don't see myself with any implant. The ring I Love, stick it in and forget about it for a month. My fiance never felt it you can take it out if you prefer to have sex without it. Just rinse it off and stick it back in when finished.
If I was not considering the ring again I would probably look into the shots that last 3months or so.

Bree is talking about the implanon. I have heard good things about it but I was always afraid to get it lol. Mirena was horrible for me personally, but I know women it works really well for. There is always the depo shot, and of course pills. I always forgot to take my pills though so I had to set an alarm on my phone for the same time every day so I would remember.

I am getting my tubes tied after this one though, but that's only because I'm having to have a hysterectomy in the next year or two so they don't want me to risk another pregnancy.

Honestly the best is the thing that goes in your arm. I forgot what it was called.

I'm getting something permanent after I have this baby. But my sister has mirena and its worked well for her. She said it hurt when she got it but now she's protected for five years. I think another good option is the shot.
