Birth Control

Hello,  A little over 3 months ago I started taking Ortho Tri Cyclen lo.

First month on the pill full period,

Second two periods 3/2 thru 3/4 and 3/10 thru 3/14 (in between period I had unprotected sex with my partner of 3 yrs. and once after my period.  Total of 3 days of unprotected sex(with vaginal ejaculation).  Missed pill 4/28 and doubled up 4/29

Third month  period 4/5 thru 4-9 my period for the most part last 6 days.  4/12 we had unprotected sex.  My breast have been tender all month (full and tight) today it finally subsided(with minor aches).  We had unprotected sex (with vaginal ejaculation) 4/12.

4/20 I had bleeding but only when wiping with visible spotting.  I check my vagina and see no visible bleeding.  Did see this morning brown very small clot.

Have been restless the last two weeks, but that may be due to my work load.

Confused and my doctor is not available
Problem my periods vary from month to month and birth controls regulate me.  Is this my body adjusting to the new bill or can I be pregnant.

Hello,

I am currently taking Ortho Tri Cyclen lo.  Since I have been on this pill my periods are errantic.  As you will see below my period comes every month, but twice every other month.  I have never experience this on other birth control pills (period were once a month)

2/5 to 2/10
3/2 to 3/5
3/9 to 3/12
4/6 to 4/9
5/5 to 5/8
5/24 to 5/28
6/1 to 6/6
7/1 to 7/6

My concern is I had unprotected sex with boyfriend yesterday and this morning I had a lot of discharge, not smelly, yet thick and stretchy.  We always have unprotected sex, he loves cumming inside.  I recently use the bathroom and the discharge is looks like egg white (which is when a woman is most fertile).  This month my period was dark and spotty, with no visible flow.  I am confused.  I hought the pill would prevent this type of discharge or ovulation.  Should I take Plan B pill?

Your body is most likely adjusting to the pill.  It takes a few months (and sometimes longer) for your body to get used to the hormones.  Have you tried taking a HPT?  That might ease your mind.  If your period still doesn't come in the next week or two definitely take a test.
