Birth Control

I'm taking birth control pills since yesterday. My doctor didn't ask me to take a pregnancy test because I was sure I wasn't. But this morning I threw up and I feel nausea. I'm also experiencing dizziness. I'm taking levora. So now idk if I'm pregnant or it's just the first effects of the pills. I talked to my doctor and she said I shouldn't be throwing up.

Yes, take a test to be sure.  I am not familiar with that type of birth control or the side effects but taking a test is vital if there's a possibility you could be pregnant.  Please do so to be sure -- there are so many women who want children out there and can't have them and it would be a shame if you were pregnant but the birth control harmed your unborn child.  Obviously if you haven't had sex since your last period though then you are probably okay but a $6 pregnancy test would be a comforting option to get any doubt cleared up.
