Bleeding while pregnant

Hi! I'm 7w4d pregnant with my first child. I started having spotting at 5 weeks that lasted only 2 days. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks after having some bright red blood. The ultrasound showed a small subchorionic hemorrhage and a fetal heart rate of 75. I continued to spot/light bleed brown and red and pass small clots. I went for a second ultrasound and it showed a growing baby with a fetal heart rate of 114 (7 weeks) and no hemorrhage.   I am still bleeding red and passing clots so the bleeding has now been going on for about ten days. I am not bleeding super heavy or having any cramps. I talk to my doctor frequently and he says if it gets worse to call him. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Any advice? I should also mention my doctor has had me on bedrest for the past week amd I still am on bedrest. Please help.

Thanks! It's very reassuring to hear that people have bled during pregnancy and still gone on to have healthy babies! My husband and I are thrilled, but scared being that this is our first and I'm having all this bleeding. My next ultrasound and appointment is Tuesday and I just keep praying and hoping for the best! Thanks again for responding!

I had a subchorionic hematoma with my first that lasted for 5 weeks where I bled everyday worse than a period. I was never put on bedrest. My daughter just turned 3 last month. As long as your doctor is monitoring it you should be fine.
