Bloating and discomfort at about 5 weeks

I am about 5 weeks prego and I have been having some bloating with some discomfort. Is this normal?

I went for an earl ultrasound today. God! we saw h/b. They said the baby measured 6w2d and the h/b was 110. I am so thankful to God.
While I am happy, I am still very scared.

I am 6wks now and taking progesterone suppositories. Had a m/c in Jan 2009. Is it normal to feel so much bloating in the abdomen as if I am 4 months pregnant? This is my second one. I did not remember feeling this much bloated during my first pregnancy. I am scared to death. Thanks guys for all ur support. I am having an ultrasound in 2 days.

Mine is Oct. 9, I will find out for sure when I go for my ultrasound (which I cannot wait for!) Congrats again. =)

Yes sounds normal. You will experience bloating and even some light cramping as the uterus prepares to grow and make room for baby! =)  Congrats!!

yes, it is very normal.....you may also begin to get constipated which will add to the discomfort/bloating......... lots of fresh fruits help with this though!!!!!
