Blood in babies stool

Hello.
I posted couple days ago about Kamran having some stomach problems. Doctor diagnosed him with Acid Reflux and put him on Zantac.  He has been also having blood in his poop sometimes. Today he had some blood again. I have cut out all the diary products from my diet. He does not have bloody poop all  the time, just about 4 times since he was born. He is 3,5 month now and exclusively breastfed.
Has any of your babies had this. I am really worried, but doctor did not seem very concerned.

Thank you

Both of my babies had had some blood in their stool while breastfeeding.  It was caused by spicy foods that I ate.  It just cause irritation for a few days.

Usually it could be cause by hemrrhoids from having slightly harder stools and pushing harder.  Nothing to be concerned about until there is a huge amount of blood!

Here's a link that gives some of the reasons for bloody stool, a lot of them are not that serious.

Blood in stools is usually looked upon as being urgent. Either find a new doctor or insist they take a look at your baby's bowels. He could have a tear or a hernia or something.
