Blue veins

Okay I keep hearing something about "blue" veins in BBs during pregnancy. Is that the same thing as little spidery purple veins? Not varicose veins, just tiny little networks of purplish veins in the breasts.

Yep... They are bad on me but I also have a billion strechmarks on them so it looks like a lot more. When are you going to test?

Yeah but I always have those since I've had my other daughters. I'm confused about blue vs. purple! LOL! Should I be looking for BLUE veins or will the purply ones just become more defined and "take over"?

HAHAHA they are bluish they have a purple tint but are more blueish!

I am disappointed to see that so many women will post a response to specific people while ignoring others. You talk about blue veins which is EXACTLY what the topic to MY post is yet it was and has been ignored by everyone but YOU, even though others have posted immediately in a response to your discussion.

Linzola, luckily my hubby didn't turn around because I'm like at the computer with my shirt over me head trying to figure these colors out. The tiny networks of little veins on me look more reddish-purple. But I do have large blue veins that run deep in the breast tissue. Oh well! It's just one of those things, you know?!

my veins on my bbs definately became more prominent, looks like a freaking road map! but mine are blue veins much like the ones in your arms...not the purpley ones..but that was one of my first signs..

The veins were one of the first things I noticed when I first thought I was preggers. I didn't have any purplish varicose ones, just my main blue blue veins became alot darker. And my nipples turned brown (usually pink) and I got lots of new bumps on them.. not to mention they got bigger and hurt like h*ll!

mine are like what wild blue said...  just big blue veins got more prominent b/c of the extra blood flow.  which for me kinda sucks b/c i'm very pale to begin w/!  red hair and fair skin...  and big blue veins on my chest!!!  :)

That's totally the first thing that I saw even before I was prego.....with my second pregnancy but mine were big blue veins.

For me it's not those little spider veins...It's the regular veins that run through the breast tissue but becuase of the increased blood flow and preparation for milk production the are more prominent and very blue.  I have fairly translucent skin to start with so mine always show but during pregnancy they show REALLY REALLY bad.

My breast look like a road map with bright blue veins running all over them!  They don't usually look like this unless i am prego, good luck.

I have blue veins also, and about the posting sometimes noone post to me either, it doesnt really matter maybe they just cant relate to what your talking about, or someone has already said exactly what they wanted to say....

Mine were big veins on my bb's.. like they just blew up to double they're size (I had NEVER had veins that showed on my bb's before)

But my legs are covered with spider veins since I got pregnant. it's crazy. I hate support hose tho. :)

This is an old thread I found, but I'm wondering if any of our new preggy mommies got these BIG BLUE veins BEFORE you knew you were preggo????

I have the blue/purply (same thing lol) veins, but mine are pretty big, they aren't the little spidery ones. I have THOSE on my legs! They hurt too!
