I was wondering what the normal body temperature for 5 weeks pregnant is? I have been checking since I found out So about a week. My temperatures are from 98.6 - 99.4
Is this normal? Also does it stay elevated throughout the pregnancy? Or which month's are higher then usual?
I think you'll save yourself a lot of grief if you stop tracking your BBT now. Everyone has their own "normal" temperature. For instance, my normal temperature was never the "normal" 98.6. Once I got pregnant, I stopped tracking my temps. I was only tracking to help get pregnant, so I figured it served its purpose and I moved on. I think you'll cause yourself a lot of unnecessary worry if your temperature drops and it may be absolutely nothing at all.
Is there any reason why you decided to track your temps after getting pregnant?
I agree with Teri, stop BBT, put it away where you won't see. I kept taking my temp after i got my BFP and all i did was stress myself out more. Reason being is you body temp will fluctuate, if you wake up in the middle of the night or don't wake up a the same time plus all the hormonal changes. That is my best advice, "Stop now"
Congratulations , Happy and healthy pregnancy and enjoy it.
