Born Feb. 5 2013

My little Curtis Lee came into this world on Feb 5th at 11:18am via c-section. He weighed 7lbs 2oz 19 1/2 in long. For those of you wondering, I am a first time mom, and I was terrified of having a c-section. The worst part of the procedure was having the iv put in my forearm. I barely felt the spinal block. Surgery went very well, although my incision is about 6 inches long. Everyone that I talked to told me to move as much as possible afterwards to help with the pain, but don't over do things. I have had minimal pain killers since then and believe moving has helped greatly. Anyway, I just wanted to share the news. I so love my little boy :-)

I've had 2 c-sections and I thought both were great experiences, minimal pain and just as rewarding and amazing as a regular birth. Congratulations on your little boy and I hope you heal quickly!!
