thanks ladies for all the great suggestions. I will keep ya'll posted on what we decide on!!!
I have a boy cousin named Hayden. I like the names Molly, Lola and Elliott. I like unfamiliar names too. My fiances last name is James. He wants to name a little girl Jinger after a friend. I told him Jinger James (esp. spelled that way) Sounds like a stripper...lol
Remember your baby has that name the rest of their life. Best wishes
My son's name is Britton. I have gotten a lot of comments on that name. It is very uncommon where we live which is in VA. I love unfamiliar names!!!
Try Eli Haiden ...maybe changing the Y to an I will make it less feminine
You could always go with Brayden I think its great for when he is older as well..... I dont know many other I am hoping for another girl and dont want to even think of the trouble of agreeing on a boy name! We took 8 months to agree on my sons name! Good luck to you!
Try going to babynames.com and make a list and we all can vote on which ones we like the most...
I like Eli E names are cool i like Elijah. I have heard Hayden mostly for girl not too much for boy but i do like it but if you need more boyish you could do Kayden thats definetly boy.
I like the two names combined as well........Run that by him and see what he says
I really like Eli & Hayden and I think one of the posting said to combine them.. that way you'll both be happy.
As for me I am 34 weeks pregnant and I am naming my son Dylan Lee.. (( had to have the same initials as muy hubby)).. guys I swear!
Well good luck and have a happy & healthy pregnancy.
I like Hayden alot! Eli Hayden does seem to flow pretty well though so you could always go with that so that both of you had a say in his name and each likes atleast part of it LOL.
In my family it is tradition for the boys to have names from older generations - they have their own first name and then grandfathers as middle names, my eldest is David Clement Pearson James, then there is John Douglas McKinlay James, then there is Phillip Westley Pearson James. Eli is lovely, and it is different - although I knew a pair of twins when I was younger called Enoch and Eli, they were lovely boys, grew up very well and are both professionals now. I would say choose whatever you want, but give the child a name he can grow with -- he will be a man longer than he is a baby, and beware of fashionable names, after some years they tend to sound a bit silly. The meaning of a name sometimes is more than the name itself, why don't you go to the library and take a name book, there are loads in there with the meanings listed too.
we had picked our boy and girl name DANIEL JAMES and BETHANY we found out we are having a girl but decided to let our 7 year old son choose her name and he wants to call her CODEY LEIGH i do like eli
i think eli hayden sounds good. i also like hayden elijah. good luck!! whatever you pick will be exactly who he is supposed to be!
i personally like the name eli hayden its perfect and uniqe maybe you can pick one name and he picks one name (first and middle) then you both would have an active part in naming the baby or you could put the best names you both like in to a hat and what ever u pull out could be his name kinda dumb idea not really something you do to name ppl i guess lol sorry for the suggestion good luck
my boys r ETHAN, JORDAN and KEENAN . what about Eden, Rhys, Tyler, Taj. i could go on. u will find the perfect name. just keep looking, the possibilities are endless. good luck and congratulations.
I like both names...my nephew who is due any day pretty much will be Eli James. You can compromise and do both. It's your baby and you can name him anything you want. My husbands name is Brooks. And our son whenever he is born will be named sorean. So it's your choice.
I am in the same situation!!! We can't agree on anything this time around!! Good Luck
