Boy or Girl, US pics attached

I had my anomaly scan yesterday at 20wk5d. They do not tell the gender in my country, and also make it a point NOT to take relevant angles/pictures of the baby during the US. But I managed to get some from them, it is not at all clear.
Could you ladies please have a look and advise? Thanks a lot!

wow..thanks a lot for your comments ladies. The picture is indeed taken from top rather than the usual bottom view. This is because they do not give us the picture taken from bottom as per rule.
it looks like I may have to wait for the next scan when baby is bigger and hope for a better picture.
BTW.. I just started feeling the baby kick softly since last night :) I had been waiting for the distinct kick for soooo long! And I am sooooo excited! Its like having a communicative belly rather than an imaginative one! :)

Right, well, you think it's a girl. I think it's too hard to tell, but I see what looks more like boy parts than girl parts..I'm not looking for an argument, I was just explaining why I thought it was too difficult to say. :-)

Well no usually scans are done from below I agree that it's not from the back, and I agree that this one is done from the top...but you don't see the 3 lines when taken from above, the 3 lines is seen on u/s taken from below which is why I don't think that those are lines from the vulva/labia...tbh that looks more like a hand to me, where it is and the fact that it's from above.

and now looking at it better what looks like it could be a boy is deffinately a cord. if you look closely it keeps going but gets lighter with each section toward the feet so that is a cord that is slowly moving toward the back so it gets lighter and lighter.

oh ok, well it is deffinately from the top you can see the knees bent toward the chest and the way the feet are bent. that is deffinately not from the back. you wouldnt see the knees like that and all of the legs if it was from the back cause the back and butt would be covering it. totally a girl.

OH sorry I wanted to clarify why I don't think it's a shot from below; if it's illegal to be told the gender in her country, then most likely what we're seeing is NOT a traditional "beneath the butt" shot guys...so keep that in mind.

I definitely know what the three white lines look like; I have a boy and a girl :-). However, because there's no way to tell for sure what angle the picture is at, it's hard to say. If it's from below, i.e. normal anatomical scan, it's a girl. However, if this is from above through the knees...I see a boy. So I still think it's hard to say.

edit ~ what people are seeing that looks like boy stuff is the light colored shadow area between the legs but that is the insides possibly the cord but what you look at that proves its a girl is the very bright white two likes that resimble a hot dog bun. that are closer to the stomach than the shaddow.

girl to me. looks just like my daughter at 13 weeks. if it looks like a empty hot dog bun its a girl a boy would have a big ball and have a penis hanging out.

It looks a lot like a girl to me. I asked DH what he thought too and he said it looks like a girl as well.

hmmm I just looked at it again and now I'm not so sure.  It does appear that what I thought was a penis is actually the umbilical cord but it's still hard to tell.

Joy, I saw what you were seeing, but I THINK that they're looking down between the knees instead of from below...you see what I Mean? it looks like a baby lying on it's back (head turned to the side) and it looks like the knees are tucked up and you're looking down between them...

I'm sorry but that is NOT a boy. There is very obvious labia distinguishing your little one as a GIRL! What looks like a faint outline of a penis is the umbilical cord because you can see more than one cord. Anyway look to the left of what looks like a penis and you'll clearly see girl parts.

Congrats! Start buying pink!

thanks everyone! So it does leave me 50/50 :)  I do not have a personal preference but really want to know so that I can plan the room and clothes accordingly.
On this 20.5 week scan, the baby measured 6 days behind, which is little more than 19 weeks. I am thinking that if I get another scan in 4 weeks, the picture should be more clearer than this one and hopefully more easier to make out boy or girl :)
