They haven't been regular maybe 2 or 3 a day throughout the day. They aren't super painful but tense enough to make me notice them. And yes my tummy gets tight. Everone has been asking me if I've had them and I was like idk I don't think so. But now I know :) they just started 2 days ago. Thanks guys
Everyone is different. You have them throughout your entire pregnancy but not all women notice them. I'm very small to start with and I noticed them very early in each pregnancy, my dr said that was mostly because of my size. I believe I've heard that some women never feel them the entire time they're pregnant! Everyone is different! Mine are different with the 2nd pregnancy than they were with the first. I get a lot more discomfort this time!
When do Braxton Hicks Start btw.. I am 20 weeks and just wondering?
I know its your body getting ready for REAL Contractions.. but not actual contractions??

They can hurt, some people say they do. I had painless (sometimes slightly uncomfortable) braxton-hicks throughout my first pregnancy, I'm 26 weeks with my 2nd and I've had them the whole time again. Just pay attention to the timing of your contractions. Many times with BH contractions your entire uterus won't tighten, but with a real contraction it will. Just pay close attention to how long they last and how close together they get since you're close to the end! Your body is probably starting to get ready for labor. I know when I was around 36 weeks I had quite a few contractions that just never got regular and I went into labor at 38 weeks! Good luck, you're getting close!
Braxton Hick are basically labour pains (Its your body getting ready for the labour and preparing you for it) so I guess that what you are having :)

Some people will tell you no, they aren't really labor contractions so they aren't painful, BUT YES they can be painful, I'm living proof that they can, and was told by my OB with my son that they can actually feel like real labor contractions. You'll know when it is a contraction, if you've never felt one before because your entire stomach will be rock hard, not just part of it. I get crampy with some of mine, and I'm only 26 weeks with number two.
