Braxton Hicks?

So I've read that braxton hicks aren't supposed to be painful, just uncomfortable. But what does that mean exactly? Is uncomfortable still painful without being in so much pain to cry? I'm asking because I got 2-3 back to back a little bit ago and they were painful..

They can hurt towards the end of pregnancy. I'm 35 weeks and had some wicked back contractions today. Just a constant two minutes. Then never came back. My MIL has been a nurse for over 40 years and told me that it is normal at this time for them to be painful. But if they happen often they could be the real deal. Just keep an eye out.

I'm not sure how to explain properly but my braxton hicks don't really hurt but its not comfortable when my stomach gets tight. N I've been doing EVERYTHING to try to prevent them but nothing completely works. But small things help like drinking lots of water, laying down, emptying bladder continuously, taking quick warm/hot showers, no sex, eating healthy, reduce sts, and my new thing I've been trying is add a powder form Magnesium to my water. Magnesium helps relax uterine muscles and calcium helps contract the muscle. Its important to know that they do work together so do not cut calcium out of diet, very important for nerve function.

Drink some water. I heard that helps, you might be dehydrated!

Braxton hicks for me are painful. All over bloating, pushing outwards like my belly will rupture and baby will pop out my belly button with all over pain. Contractions are from the top of my stomach downwards and more crampy, squeezing very painful and evenly spaced. Braxton hicks are actually worse for me, until the end of labor.

Some times the hurting can just be cramps. If you're still concerned then you can start timing them to see if theres a pattern

Braxton Hicks can some times hurt. They just wont hurt as much as real contractions do. Trust me, last week mine were hurting and I rushed to L&D thinking I was in labor lol
