I would call, you're better to get checked out - they will prob just hook you up to a CTG machine to do a trace of your baby, I had somethingn similar when I was 29w and they thought it was preterm labour but t turned out to just be really painful BH and they gave me pain meds to get through them. If the apin is getting worse or becoming more frequent I would def call, and say to them that pain relief and a hot bath etc hasn't relieved the pain x
I am 24 weeks, and ive done those things.. The pain has gone to my back.i reand on a website that if you have 4 or more in one hour to go to the doctor dont want to be feeling like this but I dont want to go the er either.. Any other suggestions?
HOw far along are you? You can start feeling Braxton Hicks from about 18 weeks onwards. They should be able to ease off if you move about, change position, have a hot bath, take a couple paracetamol etc. @KeroseneFox - yep :) x
Is braxton hicks the contractions that make your stomach tighten and become hard?
