Breast tenderness????

Hi Everyone,
I'm still so confused. Here's my story! My last period was on October 10th and my period was due on November 15th. I still haven't had my period and all 13 tests I have done have come out negative! Yes I know, a little over board. I have also had a blood test done and that also came out negative. I'm now 13 tests and one blood test later totally convinced that I'm not pregnant. But the question that I can't answer is why are my breasts so sore? Usually my breasts get sore about 5 days before my period starts. They have been very painful for about three weeks. They will hurt for three or four days then the pain will go away for a day or two. Then it will come back all over again. Any suggestions? Also I have a large amount of cervical mucus discharge. It's white and thick and it has a weird odor. Sorry to be so graphic. I wash my vaginal area very well and still by mid day I can smell it. It makes me feel so dirty. Any thoughts here? Thanks for listening!

A woman's body is such a mystery..that could be the case.  I would just observe my body (I always do and I get paranoid when something changes).  If possible, try not having "activities" for a few days and see how your body reacts.  During that time, ask your husband to drink plenty of water (tell him he will get an award :-)  ) and see if that makes a difference for you.  Also, I have heard that a man should not wear tight underwear...boxers or boxer briefs are better to keep the "baby sac" cool.  You may just have an untreated yeast infection.  If you do, complete your treatment before having "activities".

Thanks. I just hope that this isn't the cause of us not being able to have a baby. Could the large amount of being causing us not to get pregnant? Is there a way to make the path to the egg easier for the sperm? Could my thick cm be causing the sperm not to be able to go where it needs to? Still glad I'm not shy lol

The odor and discharge can be from a mix of you and your husbands fluids.  I use to experience that with my fiance after we had "activities", and it usually comes out of you the following day...like mid-day (when you think you are discharging...both of your fluids are coming out of you)..I couldn't stand it (lol).  After awhile it mellowed out a bit.  Ask him to drink more water (that's what we did and it helped).  I hope that made sense :-)

My doctor just called in a prescription for me. If the yeast infection is the source of all of this mess, does anyone know of a preventative? And can a yeast infection be causing my infertility? We have been trying to have a baby for 2 years! I'm lost for words.

I also notice the smell more up to a day after me and my husband have sex. Could his sperm be the reason for the smell. God I feel like an idiot! lol Thanks everyone for being so kind with a very sensitive situation. You guys are great!

Hmm, I don't know about that. I have never had a yeast infection before. I thought I did once, then realized I had slid down one of those dumb firefighter poles at a playground when my boyfriend and I were goofing around and realized I burned myself "down there." Hurt to pee, but not yeast or anything and it went away. I've always heard cranberry juice, but if OTC doesn't work, then I doubt that will. I believe some people just naturally have more yeast than others. Sperm also messes with the ph level in the vagina, and if you are simply just proned to yeast infections, that could have something to do with it.

I've been having this problem since I married my husband. Sometimes are worse then others. But it's always there. Good thing I'm not shy! Can I keep getting a reoccuring yeast infection? And what would cause the constant over flow of yeast?

Yes, your doctor can prescribe something for you. They do clear up on their own sometimes too though. Usually when you do have a period, the ph level in your vagina drop, creating an unfriendly environment for the yeast, so it sometimes clears up on its own that time.

Those do not sound like pregnancy symptoms. If you are late for your period and you breasts are usually sore 5 days before, then they will probably continue to be sore until you have a period. The discharge is not a sign of pregnancy. I too have white and thick discharge, but am on the pill and call that my "sperm stopper" since it's not like fertile mucus. If it has a weird odor, that is a different concern. I think you have a yeast infection. You say the discharge is white, thick, and smells bad...classic symptoms of a yeast infection. Having an infection like that can also throw off your normal cycle. You're not pregnant though.

Actually I wash twice a day. Once in the morning before work, then at night before I go to bed. I'm using a feminine wash and I can't figure out what the problem is. I never had this issue before me and my husband were married. Did my body just change?

if you are washing to much it can make things worse as it take away any good (can think of the word right now sorry lol) or if your using soap it can cause an infection so that could be the cause of it
