Brown Spotting and Cramping

Hey, I was just wondering if I could get some insight from other people who may have gone through what I'm going through!  For the last 10 days, I have had brown spotting and discharge.  It hasn't been alot, and it is mostly there after I wipe.  Along with this I have had slight cramping, and have also felt a bit nauseous.  On Wednesday I took a home pregnancy test, which came up negative.  I then went and got a blood test done, which also came back negative.  Again, this morning I took another HPT and it was negative.  The last time I had sex was Jan.1......also, I'm currently on Tricyclen and not due to have my period for another 2 weeks.  So I guess my question is, could it be too early to see a positive result on a pregnancy test?  Or what else could be going on??

I have been on these pills since August, and I take them the same time everyday and have never missed one.  I have not been tested for STD's, as I didn't think that could be a possibility.  My fiance and I have been together for 3 years and are in a very commited relationship.....I guess that chance is always there, but I do not think that it could be an STD.  I have been doing a lot of research and it seems that most people don't get an accurate result until at least 19 days.  I just really feel like I'm pregnant, and if im not I'm just a little worried as to what else could be going on with me!

Thanks for your input!

If the last time You had sex was January the 1st it would not be showing up on a home pregnancy test yet and as it is only the 17th today it is still possible you could be pregnant as I have been told a blood test does not show positive until three weeks considering it is only the 17th that is only just over two weeks

How long have you been on birth control? And do you take it properly? It doesn't sound like you are pregnant to me. Have you been tested for STD's? Not trying to scare you, I just know that a few of them do cause bleeding/spotting in between your periods. The reason I say that it doesn't sound like pregnancy is because you say you had sex on Jan 1? and you are due to have your period in 2 weeks. Assuming that you are on a 28 day cycle, you should be ovulating right about now. And also you had a blood test done, and that was negative.
