Brown spotting

My period was due on Wednesday and I did't start. Thursday I had a light brown spotting start and it continued til Sunday.  I have felt some cramping and fatigue. I took an hpt yesterday and it was neg. Anyone have this happen to them?

Still negative...gonna move on and try again.

yes i have and it sound to me like you maywell be pregnant, just early for it to show up on a hpt, some woment experience spotting or an unusually light period like bleed when they are due and are pregnant, wait a couple of days and retest using first morning urine, I would probably wait until your a week late if you can, treat yourself as pregnant, prenatals, no drinking/smoking etc, if this one shows up neg and still no sign of your period go and have some blood tests done, one of my pregnancies didnt show pos until I was 8 weeks and I has spotting at 4 and 8 wks

I have. If you got your period a day late, you probably aren't pregnant. Just stress or hormones.
Bleeding at the beginning of a pregnancy only happens in one-third of cases. But, the timing of first-trimester bleeding that mimics a period can vary and be confusing, especially if you haven't had it before. If this really didn't feel like a period, or you feel really hormonal still several days after spotting, I would take another HPT just to be sure.
