Ok, so your aunt's dad is your mom's father's brother and her mom is your mom's mother's sister? So your grandfather's brother is married to your grandmother's sister?

The only reason I posted the abnormal bleeding instead of the normal bleeding is because you said you've been getting bleeding the last few months. (Not just spotting right?) If your doctor said it was nothing major, than I'm sure it's not, and I hope he's right. Are they going to test you for endometriosis?

Thanks Smj, my progesterone level on day 21 of my cycle was at 40 which as far as i'm aware is pretty high last time i was tested.  I've also had a smear and been tested for STD's and again all are clear.  My aunt has endometriosis and i know this can be hereditary it's the only thing i haven't been tested for yet but hoping the laparoscopy show's something.

My aunt is closer blood related than most, her dad is my mum's dad's brother and her mum is my mum's, mum's sister so it's pretty close.  I'm hoping i get some sort of info today to let me know when the procedure will be done

From www. beyond fertility . com

Abnormal spotting shows up at times other than the above mentioned times. Abnormal spotting lasts for days. It’s abnormal to spot days before your menstrual cycle is due. The causes of abnormal spotting vary.
One common cause of spotting several days before the menstrual cycle is due is low progesterone. It’s the hormone progesterone that helps to maintain the uterine lining for pregnancy and when progesterone level drops, the menstrual cycle occurs. In women who are deficient in progesterone, they will see spotting several days to a week before their cycle is due. This can also cause minor infertility and early miscarriage.

Another reason spotting may occur could be uterine fibroids, which are fairly harmless, but need to be kept an eye on. Endometriosis, birth control pills are a few other reasons spotting may occur. The most harmful reasons for spotting are possible sexually transmitted diseases and some cancers.

It is advisable if you have re-curring spotting each month to have your healthcare provider to exam you, just to rule out possible harmful reasons for it and to help you to deal with and/or cure the reasons behind the spotting.

If you want I can send you the exact link in a PM to the site, it explains when spotting is normal, and when it's not. The when it's not is what I posted here.

I love that quote, and it's true. Maybe if I'm not pregnant this month next month I will be since it'll be extra enjoyable after 20 days of no BD and no seeing each other, lol. That's how DS happened I think, we were apart 4 weeks, and when I got back it was more than every other night!

Can't they do an ultrasound to see how thick the wall of your uterus is? If you're bleeding like that as early as you are, I wonder if you haven't already had a fertilized egg and the bleeding caused it to leave your body? I don't know if that's a possibility, but next time you get a chance to talk to the doctor I'd ask. Hmm...now I wonder if that could happen...I'm gonna try to hunt something online, I'll let you know if I find anything.

I spoke to my consultant at the end of January, he said it was nothing major to worry about, couldn't couldn't be certain what was causing it under i had the laparoscopy.  I'm wondering if it's maybe because my wall lining is to thick or thin and the egg isn't implanting properly though i'm not sure.

I feel sorry for you with your man going away for a while, i miss mine when he does a nightshift let alone gone for 20 days.  Just remember absence makes the heart grow fonder, he'll be home before you know it!!

gillianl~~~I really do hope it means a BFP for you. Did you ever talk to the doctor about the bleeding?

Well ladies, DH leaves in 5 and a half hours, he'll be gone for 20 days. I miss him already. I almost cried when he gave Elijah hugs before he went to lay down and try to get some sleep a few minutes ago, but I didn't. I didn't want him to see me upset, I know it would make him more upset. I actually look at him being gone as a good thing because it will get me used to it for when he does get deployed. I just $UCK$ because it's been a year and two months since I came to Korea to be with him again after him being gone 8 months. I'm not used to him being gone anymore. :..(

3-4 DPO, and the only "symptom" I may have is the fact that my turkey sandwich, that I made the same way I normally do, and normally find extra yummy, was so disgusting that I threw it away after only a couple bites. I just went to the grocery store, and I'm a very big throw away the second it hits the expiration date person, plus I checked nothing was bad...but my salty chips are almost gone, bought them yesterday cause I was craving salty...a little odd since I normally want sweets at any given time of the month.

FRER is a 25 mIU/mL. Look up pee on a stick . com, it shows the different brands the lady has tried and the sensitivity. Even though it said 25, the lady who runs the site has called the company and they have said it's been noted at 12 mIU/mL. I don't know what the mIU/mL means, but pee on a stick has FRER and Clear blue digital listed as the most sensitive.

I went to the store and bought some FRER today....I am going to try and hold out until I am at least CD31 because that is when AF came last month.  I tried to look on the boxes to see the measurements and how sensitive they were but I couldn't find anything.  Do they not list it on the boxes or do you just find that info on line.  I was going to get the Answer brand but I went with what I knew.  I am having some light crampy feelings today so I don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing.  I guess we will find out in less than two weeks.  SSBD!!!!!!!!!!!

First Response is one of the most sensitive, and Clear Blue digital. But many people have had a more positive looking test from another brand than the First Response.

Very weird. Last night DH and I BDed, I was on top like normal and I couldn't stay that way...it HURT. It's never been painful before, but it felt like DH was like 2 feet long shoving up in there. Don't know what that's all about, but today I'm a little crampy. DH said it was really tight feeling in there, and could feel my cervix was really low.

A comment about yellow CM....I'm just over 6 weeks and I've been getting milky white or yellow CM this whole time. I don't have a yeast infection or any type of infection...I was getting it from the moment I got pregnant pretty much.

Also about nosebleeds....I woke up one morning to blood dots on my pillow only once thus far!!! I was disappointed because my pillowcase is WHITE!! LOL so I hope that doesn't happen often!!

Smj-- HOLD OUT!! LOL test on ur cd 32 or when you planned!! SSBD!!

Babydust ladies!!
