Caesarean section recovery

Can any ladies tht have had a section please share their experiences? I'm nearly 5 weeks post natal now. My stomach is still numb, I have an infection(under treatment) I wonder if my stomach will ever be the same again? My best friend had her little girl 2 year ago via caesarean and says her stomach is still numb to this day! I feel as though my muscles in my stomach ache. My mother thinks I'm over doing myself causing  this. I do admit I'm pretty much doing anything and everything. How long are you supposed to take it easy for? Or just anyone's personal experiences if you wish to share. Thanks ladies!!

I've had 2 csections going on number 3 my first was 20 months ago and I'm still numb but only around the incision and you should take it easy for at least 6 weeks to give yourself time to heal

8 weeks taking it easy but each person is different. If you're sore yes your overdoing it. Parts near an incision will always be numb as with any surgery. There are excersise you can do to get your tummy back in shape but wait till 12 weeks post baby.use a binder helps to every day all day for 6 months.
