Can I hear the heart beat at 11 weeks

I bought a Doppler and its pry been used several times before I got it. I haven't heard heart beat yet or seen my baby. I found out on my birthday the 27th and went in to the clinic and said I was 7 weeks with just estimating from my period. I'm nervous, I try not to think about it but it's hardy. I used the Doppler Friday with girly color lotioned them couldn't hear anything then on Saturday I just didn't use anything and there were numbers it ranges from 41-191 lol, so idk what that was about but didn't hear anything at all, then I used that sunburn gel and still couldn't hear anything. Idk if I broke it by using that lotion. But am I doing it wrong or should I be worried or did I break it.

Mine worked by week ten. But your uterus and baby stukk fit behind your pubuc bone for the most part. A lot of time when I was looking for the heartbeat the baby would shy away and hide behind my Pubic bone. Best way to figure out how to do it properly is to ask your doctor orrrrrr watch a YouTube video- ALWAYS super helpful

Most home Dopplers don't work til at least 20 or so weeks since baby is still so small. I had one and it didn't work for me either. I could only hear the heartbeat with the Doppler at the dr office
