Can anyone suggest the best ways for conceiving??

Me & my fiancée are both 18 & have now decided its the right time to start our little family.
Only problem is what's the best way of conceiving? Are there any right positions to greater our chances of conceiving this year?!
My periods are pretty irregular sometimes, so would be hard to pin point my ovulation times, is there any other methods for doing this? I've been told after having sexual intercourse, my fiancée should leave his penis in side my vagina to keep the sperm in, if we carry on having intercourse after his ejaculated in me, would the sperm then have a chance to leak out, as this we are UN sure of :/  Any answers would be a great deal of help. Yeah i understand what your saying Clysta, your answer is also a good help to me.
I thought that would be a good idea to wait a day or too to allow my fiancée's sperm to increase. I have been told if the sperm is warm there's a more chance my egg can get fertilized as warm sperm are healthy & are good swimmers? x

It is indeed true that you can only get pregnant when you ovulate, because otherwise there is nothing for the sperm to fertilize. It only has a life span of 3-5 days (and has been seen to last as long as 7 days) in the female body. I've heard women claim that some positions are better than others, but I don't personally know. I never tried any particular ways, or did anything different and am now 32 weeks pregnant. As another lady posted on one of your other threads you made, pre-seed is the only sperm safe lubricant, as the others can kill and/or reduce sperm mobility. (The same goes for spit as well) So if you need to use something, that would be the best thing you could try. Otherwise, invest in OPK's (as others have posted) and you can also try BBT. Your temperature will increase slightly when you ovulate so you'll know the best days to have sex. Make sure you're also not having sex too frequently because the guy needs to build up the sperm supply. So once a day, or every other day would be best. (Generally allowing 36 hours between each ejaculation works well) And as you said. It can take up 1-2 years to conceive, so just try to enjoy it, and don't make it like it's a job. The more obsessive you can get about it, the harder it gets.

Whatever position you are comfortable with... and you enjoy the most tbh!
No your chances are higher when you're ovulating. You CAN also get pregnant on your period!
Personally its like something you REALLLLLY want the lesss you think about wanting it, the faster it comes. Happened to me. :)

Yeah i was looking at the clearblue ovulation tests today which are £19:OO but as you said they are well worth it. & quite a few people have said doggy style may be the best position as well as missionary as this gives the deepest penetration which i have no idea if this is true or not :/ I've also been told you can only get pregnant when you ovulate, but i thought you can get pregnant any time of the month so not so sure on that one lol .
But I'm hoping i can fall pregnant this year, but as a few people have said it can take up to a year but for the lucky people it can take a month! So i guess the best thing is to not think about it to much, and just enjoy it & maybe i might be one of the lucky ones (: x

Ovulation kits can be expensive but worth it LOL... Also I know you are trying for a baby but the pill helps make your periods regular!
Ermm but dont carry on... I think that might make it come out? I am not toooo sure. But every position is best.. it doesnt matter... LOL

As your periods are irregular you might want to invest in an Ovulation kit, This will tell you when you are ovulating!
Dont carry on having sex after he has came because it might all come out!
Elevate your legs with a pillow for an hour after sex.
