Can you feel when the baby positons themselves head down?

Just curious...I'm 34w and my boy has been SOOOOO active today and I absolutely love it but I am wondering if maybe I am feeling him try to flip head down?  I'm actually uncomfortable with all the movement!  It is creating a ton of pressure up high where I can feel most of the movement.

Although I am still only 25w3d my doctor has now determined our lil girl is head down. It was then that I realized that the heavy feeling in pelvis was the baby's head going up and down into my pelvis. I think it depends for every woman. I had no clue when my son decided to go  head down when I was pregnant with him, he just wound up head down. But this one, I can feel her already head down.

I felt it when Isabelle flipped I was 31 weeks. I was in the bathtub when she started moving around like crazy. After about 40 minutes I got out, and went to bed. She kept at it, and I felt like she wasn't getting enough room. After about an hour of laying in bed the pain stopped and she was calm again. The next day at my appointment she was head down. I haven't had any pain like that since. Her feet are now constantly in my ribs, and her bum is always poking out. . .it's so cute!

I couldn't tell when Jaxson flipped. He was sooooo active the entire the pregnancy though. Toward the end, it IS painful! He was running out of room in there for such acrobatics!! Hang in there! You are getting close!

He's been pretty mellow since his all afternoon/all evening long gymnastic event...perhaps he has found a more comfy spot...but it was quite a feeling!

I think my girls were pretty much head-down all the time. But I know what you mean about uncomfortable!!!

I know one surefire way to tell is when baby gets hiccups. If the hiccups are near your ribcage, they're head-up. If the hiccups are felt in your nether-regions (down low, usually near your pubic bone) then they're head-down.

i never felt Jaedyn go into position but he did because at 37 weeks i got an ultrasound to make sure he did go into position and he was head down.  every woman is different.  i felt more movement up towards my ribs because thats where his feet were and he was always moving them and his butt around.

I know some women know for a fact when their babies have turned head down...I was never sure though lol. I think I was 33-34 weeks when my little guy stayed head down. I can remember one time feeling him sideways and stretching...it actually hurt! Then he turned around but I was always afraid when he did that, that he would end up breeched. But he wasn't and once he stayed down, the kicks were very consistent on one side. I started to feel heavy down there a lot more! You are getting closer!! =)
