Thank you so much for your advice! :')
Hmmm try laying on ur left side when it happens you get more blood flow and more oxygen that way but if ur heart starts racing too much turn on ur right side and that should help.
Im 30 weeks and 5 days and ive been getting it alot lately! I think its cause i start panicking cause i cant breathe and a few weeks ago i actually ended up at the e.r cause i had an asthma attack but idk why lately i get these anxiety attacks! I try to control my breathing and take my inhaler but sometimes my inhaler makes it worst :( i feel devastated and annoyed by this :( ive been laying down alot but idk if thats making things worst
It's not good to be stressed when ur pregnant and that's been the best medicine for me... If I can't control it for me then I need to control it for my baby. Just like not eating stuff I'm not supposed to or doing things I'm not supposed to because its not all about me anymore. It's about my son, so I have to keep it under control.
Yes, it is but it is something I've been dealing with for awhile not just pregnancy. I worry about everything but I'm learning to control it.. I'm 21 weeks 2 days u? I notice mine happens mostly at work just because I don't want to be there lol. I'm always anxious to leave and I'm not busy enough. Not to mention my boss is a jerk.
Oh i see, yeah thats what i plan on doing cause ive been getting worst thanks for mentioning that inhaler:)
Laurapatsoph omg its awful isnt it? How far along are you? :( &&do you get it quite often?? Is it bad for the bby??? :(
Symbicort is a controller inhaler that you take twice daily. For me its been the best controller. It does the same thing as your flovent but for me works better. When I first found out I was pregnant I didn't have any control over my asthma I was using my inhaler several times a day. Talk to your primary care physician see what else you can do. I'm now 29 weeks and haven't used my inhaler in over a week. Mostly thanks to symbicort.
Well, I have some anxiety and a lot of the times you can be having an anxiety attack and not even know why or when it started... It causes shortness of breath which in return causes dizziness. At that point your heart starts racing and you start feeling weak. Pay more attention to when it starts and what you were doing or thinking about at that very moment... Take some deep breaths sit down and do something you enjoy... Getting on this forum, talk to someone about anything, looking on Pinterest, taking a walk, etc... At least that is how I get through it.
Thank you nikkihans i will start taking them cause i get so bad combined with my asthma i hate it :(
I have two inhalers, the flovent (to prevent it) and albuteral (rescue inhaler) which i use quite often :( i also have the nebulizer machine but it makes me jitterish i hate it... mine got worst...:'( whats symbicort???
Your iron could be low, so the taking the prenatals again may help. Try taking slow breaths and drinking a big glass of ice cold water. Your inhaler can make you jittery and make anxiety worse but definitely keep using it when your asthma is acting up, cold water will help with the asthma, distract you from your anxiety, and provide some hydration which could also be a culprit in your dizzy feeling and weakness.
I have asthma and mine has actually improved with pregnancy. Advice take it slow and easy. Are you on a controller inhaler? I take symbicort which helps a lot. I don't even have to use my rescue inhaler now. I take my prenatal still. If it makes you sick take it before bed.
