Catching a cold

I think I might be catching a cold. Some of the symptoms include;

-headache
-Nasal/congestion
-Throat hurst.
-Feel tired/heavy.
-sensitive to noise/light.

Any idea of what I can do?  I'm 18 weeks pregnant with my first. I'm willing to try any home remedies before taking Tylenol! Thank you ladies xoxo.

increase your vitamin c and vitamin d to boost your immune system. i was told 2000 mg of vitamin c is safe ( its water soluble so you'll pee out whats not needs) and you can have up to 2000iu of vitamin d. feel free to confirm it with your dr. ive started this regime with cold and flu season to prevent getting sick. my hubby is ill at the moment and i dont want to catch what he has. also important to building your immune system is pr obiotics i drink one bio k a day . these tips may not clear the symptoms but ut may help you get better faster. make sure to get plenty if rest. :)

I woke up this morning with a stomach bug and instead of taking medicine I took a couple extra vitamins including my prenatal, made some scrambled eggs for the protein and drank some orange juice for the extra vitamins, put a warm towle over my face and took a nap. Woke up with nomore sickness! Try and find vitamin rich thinks to help boost your immune. Sure hope this helps you!

For the throat try a spoonful of honey either by itself or mixed with apple cider vinegar. The vinegar will help the congestion as well. Put a pot of water on to get hot and just before it starts to boil pull it off the stove. Take a towel and cover your head and put your face close to the pot. The steam will help clear your nose out. You can take sudafed for the stuffy nose or you could try Vicks under your nose or on your chest. Could also try peppermint tea

For the congestion go into the bathroom put a towel at the bottom of the door and turn hot water and shower on full blast. It will create a steam room and clear it out. I do it when I get congested and it works amazing.
