Ok thanks, I ask because, since ovulation, my cervical mucus has increased, I was due on today but no period, and my cervix is high and firm.
Ok so at ovulation (or before) it should be high open soft wet (SHOW) and usually during early pregnancy it should be high, closed and kinda firm... Although this is true for many women sometimes it can take day or weeks after implantation for this to happen. Cervix checks are really not a reliable way to tell if you are pregnant or not but for some it does work.
It should feel higher and softer during ovulation. When your period comes it should be lower and firmer. And as for pregnancy it goes up and gets softer but it can happen late or early in pregancy. Checking your cervix is not really an indicator of anything as it changes often....sometimes several times in one day and has many variables.....such as are you bowels full or empy.....dont rely on your cervix for any answers because it will be an inaccurate answer. Hope this helps.
