Confused again haha

Had a scan on 10th march showing 7weeks 2 days but was wrote down as 7 weeks 1 days lol

anyway i was at the midwife antenatal appointment on 31st march and she said im 10 weeks 2 days and conceived end of January ,

how is that possible because if i conceived end of January my scan on the 10th of march would not of been 7 weeks 2 days

I conceived middle of January and that makes sence and matches up to my scan aswell but if i conceived end of January it  don't add up at all . I never had a period after my d and c ..

Its like when they say 40 weeks in pregnancy and at 5 months your 20weeks so that would mean at 10 months your 40 weeks. But i was thinking if i conceived end of January how is the scan not right and also i would be two weeks behind because on 31st my midwife got her chart out and said just over 10weeks and conceived end of January but that would make it 8 weeks which aint possible as i was over 7 weeks on my scan lol how confusing haha

The two weeks are added in because doctors (unless through medical intervention) don't know when a female ovulates. The extra two weeks is a general time frame most will. This is why they go by LMP, but if a female has irregular cycles this won't work.
