Chamomile tea works great for me. I've had a lot of constipation issues but it keeps me regular.
Some docs don't like you to take stimulant laxitives, so check first. You can take a stool softener, which you'll probably need after 4 days of not going. Also, add a few prunes or prune juice to your daily diet.
Try,fibre an plenty of fruit,or lactoluce,its a liquid lax i took wen pregnant and found it great,can be bought over the counter xxx
Oh if you probably should call your doc too because going more than four days without a bowel movement is not safe.
A cup of coffee a day (regular or decaf) can help too
Try drinking juice and eat some fruit..

Have you tried a couple of fruit cups... I'm told that helps.
