Contracting But No Pain!

So I went to my appt yesterday and when seeing my midwife , during the exam she told me I was having a contraction. I didn't feel a thing though. The only thing I noticed is the tightness of my tummy because 30secs later it became relaxed. Nervous because I didn't feel the contraction. Now I'm even more nervous! :(

I also had to have contractions stopped that I wasnt even feeling. Just felt a little tightening but it wasnt that noticeable unless I had my hand on my belly.

I'll be 31 weeks on Monday and I have a lot of contractions..like some of you ladies I don't feel some but then I feel some of them and they literally stop me in my tracks they hurt bad.. so if some hurt bad now does that mean the further I get the worse they will get and I could possibly have a difficult very painful labor?

You dont need to worry. Most first pregnancies  you wont feel them early on. But believe me you WILL feel them farther into labor! Lol. Dont worry about missing them. Im on baby #2 and I feel all my contractions but im waiting for them. I cant wait to have this.boy! Brace yourself tho..its an experience!

I have a friend who had no pain during contractions or labour. Apparently it's possible. I'd be grateful lol

My midwife told me it was normal and my tummy has been getting tight throughout the day today but still no pain at all.. I'm just nervous because what if its serious. I am experiencing back pain and cramping but only when laying on my left side. I just don't know what to think. I'm trying to relax for now.

I'm with you 32weeks I had to get contractions stopped that I didn't feel lol...37+4 and my body is progressing but I'm still not feeling contractions ha ha...my midwife said you must have a high pain tolerance.....the tightness that your feeling is called a braxton hicks contraction :)...so your feeling it but It's not bothering you...

The same thing happened to be on Thursday. I'm 35wks pregnant and I had to get a shot to stop the contractions cause I wasn't feeling them or dilating.
