Contractions

Is it normal to get painful contractions at 28 weeks? Like it's not something to run to the doctor with? The past few days I've been getting them irregulaly. They hurt, not like I'm gonna die but they do hurt. And you can see them from the outside of my belly when it shifts from getting so tight. Baby is moving all over, no bleeding or anything. But man. I stand up and I feel like a bowling ball is weighing down my lower abs. I start getting contractions every 10 or 15 minutes, but not regularly.

They're over now, but I know they'd come back. I'm thinking I'm pushing myself a little hard at work, they're much stronger than Braxton Hicks. Those with my daughter were never this strong. I think it's just the strain at work.

This happened to me at 28 weeks. Had to go to labor and delivery for them to monitor me and give me a shot to eventually stop the contractions.

Have been experiencing the same thing! Only 25 weeks! Just Braxton Hicks

Sounds like braxton hicks (fake contractions that feel like the real thing)

Go to the doctor. Yes why sit there and wait it's not normal go get checked out. Always make sure you are drinking lots of water dehydration cause contractions as well and only a doctor can tell you if it's changing your cervix
