Contractions: Where & What
FTM. wondering where you feel contractions & what they feel like. 40 weeks tomorrow & scheduled to be induced Tuesday but would still like to know just in case!
My contractions felt like period cramps that keep getting worse and worse. They were under my stomach in my pelvic region and felt like a tightening muscle cramp type of feel. Some people have back labor though and I'm not sure how that feels exactly.
You will definitely know when you're feeling contractions. I've been in active labor multiple times these past weeks. (I'm 39 weeks) and my dr. Has been giving a shot to stop my labor unfortunately. I mostly felt A LOT of pressure in my bottom, followed my sharp pains in my vagina. My baby girl loves to kick and jab me during contractions. Your entire tummy will tighten, and you will feel he/she kind of head butting you if they're in a downward position already. I hope that helps! Good luck
