Contractions

Hello I'm new here, and to the whole being a mother also! My doctor really hasn't been much help to me really. I am 37 weeks at the moment and I'm dialated to 1 cm and my cervix is softening. I know I'm getting close to the day when my son will be entering the world, but I have no idea if I have been having contractions or not. I've been having some painful tightening in my stomach, if that's what it is. I just need someone to asure me what I'm gonna be experiencing.

ooooooooooooooh it gonna get a lot lot worse than that hunny but yes thats it basically tightenings but with lot more pain am afraid goodluck

Oh & with braxton hicks u might get a lot of pressure down below were as contractions its pain as well as pressure

Hi im a mummy to 2 and im 34+2 , tightenings in ur belly are fine there braxton hicks (practice contractions) but if they are regular and painfull go see your midwife as frequant ones may be the real deal ! Good luck
