Contractions!

I've been having contractions all day, they started out really far apart and dull but now they are starting to get closer together and a lot more intense. How far apart should they be before I head to the hospital?
And is it possible to feel most of your contractions in your back?
I'm due tomorrow :)

I've had two hot showers and a bath :)
Thank you though, hoping it'll all be over soon xx

I know how you feel. But trust me when its time you will KNOW. and I'm on my third baby and they don't want me to go in until I'm literally BEGGING someone to take me to the hospital. Lol so anticipate being in that kind of pain before the hospital tells you to come in. I suggest taking a warm bath as well. And Google "stalled labor" :) god bless and good luck

Its a 45 minute drive to my hospital that's why I've just listened to them over the phone as I don't want to go in and they just say go home. It is really frustrating :(

I would go in if you can't tolerate the pain.

Still haven't gone in to the hospital. I've called twice more and they just said to take pain relief and relax with a heat pack on my belly. I've got to call back again in an hour to see what they want me to do next. I am so not coping at all with the pain!! :(

I honestly think it must be from the membrane sweep! There's no other explanation unless it was going to happen anyway.
I'm going to start timing them now because they are just getting more and more painful. Fingers crossed for tonight :)

If you are in labor and at 4cm they will admit you. However if you start to not dilate fast enough then all they are going to do is force you to get meds to speed things up. If you're okay with that, then don't worry. But still... If this is your first baby I would go in anyway. Everyone says you do NOT want a dry labor.

Eff her! If you hurt and are concerned, go in! You due date is tomorrow, why wouldn't she suggest you come in just to be on the safe side?? She is either lazy or inexperienced

Thanks ladies :)
I ending up calling l&d because of the pain and she said not to come in and to stay at home for as long as I can.
The pain is awful! And I'm usually fine with pain :/ :/

Three minutes apart. Go to the doctor and yes you can feel contractions in your back.

I think 3-5 mins. And yes it is but usually the means baby has back to your back which could be more painful.
