Cramping, but no period Pregnant? - tested negative

Hi! I was just wondering if anybody has every experienced this or something like this.  My husband and I have been trying to conceive since November 2007, which is when  I went of the pill.  I have had regular periods, since then in November and December (always with in 3 days of 32 day cycle), but now I have not had a period in January and it is now february.  I am 7 days late for typical cycle, my pregnancy tests were negative (i took 2), but I have been experiencing cramping (somewhat lighter than when on period).  No spotting or anything else unusual.  I actually saw the ob/gyn on 1/23/08 to see if everything was ok to conceive and he said yes.  Just wondering if anyone had any comments on this or if they had similar scenarios.

I'm not too sure if this person is still on this forum. This post if from 2008, so if they did get pregnant they've already had the child.

I have experienced the same thing. I'm 4 days late with very mild cramping. I took a test a day after my period was due and it came back negative. Should I wait a week to test . Durhamjk1 keep me posted if your pregnant! Good luck!

I had cramping in early January, took a pregnancy test that came up negative. Didn't think anything of it until I realized two more weeks had gone by and I still didn't have my period--took a test on the 22nd and it came back positive! I think the first test was just too soon. I've had light cramps off and on the whole month!
Good luck with your next test!

sometimes it can take a while for it to show up on HPT.  You might want to wait a week or so and test again.  I experienced cramping at the very beginning of my pregnancy.  Good luck!!
